1933 FORD COUPE "Project33"
The Project`33 Coupe was the first street rod ever to be built on-line in front of a live audience. You can view the entire build-up and more photos at www.project33.com . Every step of construction was documented in its entirety and the selection of several components was put to a public vote, making the build interactive.
We used an OUTLAW PERFORMANCE body because it’s the straightest, nicest fiberglass 1933-34 Ford 3-window coupe out there. The chop is perfect and the construction of the body is superb as the articles covering the bodywork will attest.
As many as 22,000 people per day visited Project33.com to watch and participate in the build from September of 1999 through September of 2007. The car made its public debut at the Hot Rod Industry Alliance (HRIA) booth at the 2004 SEMA show in Las Vegas, followed by the Hot Rod & Restoration (HRR) show in Indianapolis the following spring. It was showcased on Street Rodder TV (ESPN2) and a feature in the October 2006 Street Rod Builder Magazine.
Thanks OUTLAW PERFORMANCE for being a part of this monumental project!
